A rare playbill advertising an evening performance on October 1, 1843 at the Wiesbadener Theater of the play Elizabeth, Die Jugend einer Königin. The play was written by Charlotte Birch-Pfeiffer (1800 –1868), a German actress, writer, director of the Stadttheater in Zürich for six years, and author of over 100 plays and libretto. Her father was a schoolmate of Schiller and supposedly responsible for saving the manuscript Die Räuber by hiding it in his mattress.
